Saturday, February 27: Evanston WY to Denver CO

Today we made the long trek to Denver, Colorado, by way of Cheyenne WY. We came into Cheyenne just over a week ago and now we've completed a full circle around the state of Wyoming. The drive across southern Wyoming looked a lot like the landscape we saw yesterday - rolling hills and snow.


We arrived in Denver in late afternoon. Denver, the Mile High City, is located in north central Colorado, with the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains to the west and the High Plains to the east. We had a quick look at some landmarks on the way into town - Mile High Stadium, Coors Stadium, the State Capitol Building.
